Canopy Tour at Puerto Viejo

​Some people dream of flying. We make it happen.

After picking you up at your hotel we will head towards the farm (Carbón 1) located 30 minutes away from Puerto Viejo. The transportation unit will drop you off at the first platform, and after 2 cables we will enjoy one of the most spectacular cables (285 meters length, 80 meters altitude) that will take us to the heart of the forest where we will begin a guided hike with one of our naturalist guides, who will teach us about the flora and fauna of the primary forest, and the use of medicinal plants by the indigenous people.



After the hike, we will get to another platform to continue with our adventure. Our Canopy has 10 aerial platforms and 12 ground platforms, we have a total of 2760 meters of cable. Once we reach the seventh platform, we will not touch the ground again until the end of the route, so we will cross and watch the jungle as birds do. Our naturalist guide will continue explaining the environmental curiosities that surround us.



In a section of the aerial route, we will have the opportunity of descending from the platform to the ground with the Tarzan swing or with the last zip line cable. Then we will begin our return to the farm´s entrance, leaving the 2 most spectacular cables to the end. Once we arrive to the canopy base, you will have the opportunity of making your own cane juice the traditional way with our trapiche. You will also have fruit and water in our resting area before we return to your hotel.

Add another drop of adrenaline by trying our Superman. You will slide through a 300 meters and 90 meters height cable in the same flying position of the famous superhero.
