Snorkel in Cahuita

 

Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Cahuita National Park is an exhilarating.

We will pick you up at your hotel and drive you in a microbus to the village of Cahuita. There you will meet your captain and guide, who will take you by boat to the coral reefs located in Cahuita National Park. There you will go snorkeling in two different points  for two hours. Afterwards you will go to the beach to rest and have a snack of tropical fruit.


Next you will start a 1½ hour guided hike through the national park.

This national park is a combination of beautiful beaches, coral reefs, and a tropical rainforest where you can easily observe many species of monkeys, sloths, frogs, butterflies and more.


These coral reefs include about 240 natural habitats. There are 123 different species of fishes, 44 species of crustaceans, 140 shellfish and 1281 various algae that have been identified so far. You also can observe 35 different coral species such as fire coral, and the red and black coral which is unique to this area.

At the end of the hike, the car will take you back to your hotel.
